How to use OCR: Image and PDF to Text

    1. Choose your documents. Use the file picker or drag them into the workspace. Files are read locally on your device.
    2. Check your selection. Up to 20 MB and 10 PDF pages or one image. OCR can make mistakes; proofread all results. This tool exports text, not a searchable PDF or a preserved layout.
    3. Process and download. Save the finished files, then check the result before using it. Your original files stay unchanged.

    What this tool does

Preview your document, run browser-local English OCR, correct the recognized text and download a plain-text file. The recognition engine and model download when you start. Your document is not uploaded.

    Before you start

Up to 20 MB and 10 PDF pages or one image. OCR can make mistakes; proofread all results. This tool exports text, not a searchable PDF or a preserved layout.

The input limit is 20 MB. Very large documents or high-resolution images may need more memory than a phone can provide. Choose a smaller file if your browser runs out of memory.

    Your files stay with you.

File contents are processed on this device. We do not upload your selected files to a server or save them to a Pactuno account. Closing or clearing the page releases this session’s files. Downloaded results remain wherever you save them.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes, in a current browser with JavaScript enabled. Larger files may work better on a computer with more available memory. Processing depends on your device, not a server queue.
